Nathan Rice is the lead pastor at Portsmouth Nazarene. He moved to Portsmouth when his father, Rev. Kenneth Rice, became lead pastor at PFCN in 1988. Nathan received a call into ministry after serving as the youth director at PFCN. He served as the families' pastor for many years before transitioning to the lead pastor position in July of 2020. We are excited to have a Portsmouth native and one of PFCN's own as our lead pastor.

I am honored that the Lord has allowed me to serve at Portsmouth Nazarene Church for many years and has now placed me in the lead pastor position. I desire to continue the revitalization that PFCN has seen in the past few years. My goal in every ministry in which I have ever served is to help people of all ages know, love, and serve Jesus Christ."
